How to Spot Authentic Black Feather (黑羽) Products

The “黑羽 / Black Feather” word mark — along with “黑宇牌” and “黑雨牌” — is owned by the Netherlands Black Feather International Group and registered with the Benelux Office for Intellectual Property (BOIP) in The Hague (Registration No. 0991099, classes 18, 24 and 25). Genuine products trace cleanly back to that Dutch origin.
The single most reliable way to avoid a counterfeit is to buy through official channels. On marketplaces such as Taobao, only the official Black Feather store is authorised; every other listing using the same name is unauthorised, and we actively pursue trademark infringement to keep the range clean.
Signs of a fake usually show up in the details the copycat cannot replicate: the heat-reflective knit feels thin and one-dimensional instead of softly brushed, seams are not flat-locked, the plant-dyed colour runs or fades after a couple of washes, and there is no consistent brand or registration information. If a price looks too good against a technical fabric that must perform to −20°C, it almost always is.
